What happens when the MIC and RST buttons on the car navigation are pressed?

MIC refers to the built-in microphone in the car navigation system. Pressing the MIC button can turn the microphone on or off. The MIC button is generally used in conjunction with Bluetooth calls. When you want to mute the microphone during a call, pressing the MIC button will prevent the other party from hearing you, but you can still hear them. RST stands for RESET, meaning reset/restart. When the car infotainment system freezes due to certain reasons, pressing the RST button can force a reboot of the system. Function of RST: For some car models, the RST button only serves to restart the system and does not have the function of restoring factory settings. For these systems, you need to enter the settings page after rebooting and then click "Restore Factory Settings" to reset the system. Function of restoring factory settings: For other car models, the RST button can restore factory settings. In this case, simply press and hold the RST button for more than 10 seconds, and the navigation system will automatically restore factory data. All personal files or settings in the navigation system will be erased.
