What Happens If Too Much Refrigerant Is Added to a Car?

Adding too much refrigerant to a car can cause the car's air conditioning system to trigger a high-pressure alarm, result in no cooling or reduced cooling efficiency, and even lead to bursting of the air conditioning pipes. The methods to deal with excessive refrigerant in a car are: 1. Connect the refrigerant recovery and charging machine's pipelines to the car's air conditioning high and low-pressure pipes; 2. After ensuring the pipelines are correctly connected and the refrigerant recovery and charging machine completes its self-check, set the required amount of refrigerant to be recovered and start the recovery process. Refrigerant is used in refrigeration and air conditioning systems to transfer heat energy and produce cooling effects. It is an intermediate substance in the refrigeration process that first absorbs the cooling capacity from the refrigerant to lower its temperature and then cools other materials, hence referred to as the refrigerant medium.
