What gear should be engaged when changing tires?

When changing tires, the parking gear should be engaged, and the handbrake needs to be pulled. Using a jack: Prepare gloves, a new tire, and a jack. Place the jack under the frame on the side where the tire needs to be changed. Removing the tire: Operate the jack to lift the car body. Use a wrench to sequentially remove the bolts of the tire that needs to be replaced, then take off the wheel. Installing the new tire: Align the new tire with the axle and bolt holes, and initially tighten the bolts. While tightening the bolts, you can step on the sidewall at the bottom of the tire with your foot. Lowering the jack: Lower the jack and tighten each bolt in a diagonal sequence. Ensure the car is on a safe and stable surface when changing tires to prevent it from rolling.
