What gear should a motorcycle generally use on flat roads?

Normally, a motorcycle should start in first gear. After the speed picks up, the highest gear should be used for normal riding. Different motorcycles have different numbers of gears: a four-gear motorcycle uses fourth gear, a five-gear motorcycle uses fifth gear, and a six-gear motorcycle uses sixth gear. The gear to use when going uphill depends on the slope and power conditions. If the power is insufficient, downshift promptly, but generally, downshifting to second gear is sufficient. Motorcycle riding precautions are as follows: 1. Check the bike condition and riding equipment before driving (1) Check the motorcycle's condition, including the headlight, turn signals, horn, handlebars, etc. (2) Helmets are legally required protective gear; choose brightly colored clothing. (3) Gloves not only reduce the impact of sweaty hands on riding but also avoid driving in slippers. (4) Drunk driving and unlicensed driving are strictly prohibited. 2. Riding precautions: (1) Drive on the right side of the road, not on the sidewalk. (2) Do not follow too closely; maintain an appropriate distance behind the right rear corner of the vehicle in front. (3) When overtaking, pass from the left side of the vehicle ahead; avoid overtaking from the right or between two parallel vehicles. (4) Reduce sudden acceleration and abrupt stops to prevent emergencies. (5) Always slow down when turning, as excessive speed can easily lead to loss of balance.
