Golf Sportsvan uses a total of three engines, which are a 1.2-liter turbocharged engine, a 1.4-liter turbocharged engine, and a 1.6-liter naturally aspirated engine. These engines are paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, a 5-speed manual transmission, and a 6-speed automatic transmission respectively. The Golf Sportsvan is a model under Volkswagen, with dimensions of 4351mm in length, 1807mm in width, and 1584mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2685mm. In terms of exterior design, the car features the same front grille and hexagonal LED headlight clusters as the overseas version. Additionally, the lower large-mouth air intake is more distinctive compared to the current model, and the internal structure of the LED taillight clusters has been redesigned.
Previously drove the Golf Sportsvan, which offers quite a variety of engine options. The domestic version mainly uses Volkswagen's EA211 series 1.2T and 1.4T turbocharged engines. The 1.2T delivers 85kW, providing adequate power for city commuting while being fuel-efficient. The 1.4T comes in low and high power versions, with the low-power variant at 96kW and the high-power at 110kW, offering significantly stronger acceleration. The imported version also featured a 1.8TSI engine, though these are rare. All models are equipped with DSG dual-clutch transmissions, which shift quickly, but earlier versions occasionally exhibited jerking at low speeds, though this was later improved. Maintenance for the EA211 engine isn't expensive, but it's important to replace the timing belt at 70,000 km; delaying this could risk valve damage.
