The BMW 8 Series is equipped with three types of engines: a 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine with the code name N63; a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine with the code name B58; and a diesel engine, specifically the 840d diesel version prepared for the European market, which is not available in China. The BMW 8 Series is a coupe, and its body design comes in three versions: a four-door coupe, a two-door coupe, and a convertible coupe. Taking the two-door coupe as an example, in terms of exterior design, the new BMW 8 Series two-door coupe features the iconic double-kidney grille at the front, which adopts a more flattened irregular shape, with both the frame and the internal vertical slats finished in high-gloss silver chrome.
