What engine does Trumpchi use?

Trumpchi's engine is independently developed by the country. The first batch of Trumpchi engines were imported from Italy, and later ones were produced at GAC's engine factory. After domestic production, direct injection and dual spark plugs were removed, but it features variable intake valves and variable intake manifolds at high speeds. The Trumpchi engine originates from Alfa Romeo's 2.0 dual spark plug engine, and through continuous improvement and development, GAC Trumpchi's engine was developed. Trumpchi's 1.5T displacement engine is equipped with a dual variable valve timing system for intake and exhaust, a variable oil pump, a silent toothed chain, a dual-mass flywheel, and its own GCCS combustion chamber control system patent technology. The body dimensions of the Trumpchi GS3 are 1350mm in length, 1825mm in width, and 1655mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2560mm.
I remember GAC Motor uses quite a diverse range of engines, with their self-developed 1.5T and 2.0T being the most common. Models like the GS4 and GS5 mostly use the 1.5T turbocharged engine, and my neighbor's car accelerates quite smoothly. Larger vehicles like the M8 are equipped with the 2.0T, which feels like it has ample power reserve on highways. GAC's engines are all paired with Aisin transmissions, tuned for smoothness, with hardly any jerkiness in traffic jams. Their third-generation engines feature direct fuel injection technology, reportedly improving thermal efficiency significantly. The hybrid version uses a 2.0ATK engine with Atkinson cycle, which is particularly fuel-efficient. They previously used Alfa Romeo's technology but have now switched to self-developed engines. GAC's engine NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness) treatment is decent, though turbo lag can still be noticeable during rapid acceleration.
