Last year I drove my friend's Haval F7 and was particularly impressed with its engines. The car mainly comes with two self-developed engines from Great Wall: a 1.5T and a 2.0T, with model numbers GW4B15 and GW4C20 respectively. Driving it, I clearly felt the 1.5T version was especially nimble in the city, with 197 horsepower being more than sufficient for daily overtaking. The 2.0T version packs even more punch, with 224 horsepower making hill climbs effortless. What surprised me most was the fuel consumption control - my colleague's 1.5T model only consumed just over 8 liters per 100 km. The 4S shop technician mentioned the engine uses direct injection technology, ensuring very stable power output. In the tuning community, some even flash the ECU on this engine to squeeze out 250 horsepower!
