Back when I drove the Soueast V3 Lingyue, I noticed it used the Mitsubishi 4A91 engine – a real classic that veteran Soueast owners all recognize. Later models like the DX7 SUV adopted the Mitsubishi 4G63T 1.8T turbocharged engine, which delivered strong power but had relatively high fuel consumption. In recent years, newer models have started using the Shenyang Aerospace Mitsubishi 1.5T engine, like the DX5 which comes equipped with it, offering mature technology and affordable parts. As for drawbacks, early Mitsubishi engines were a bit noisy during cold starts, but they performed steadily at highway speeds. Nowadays, Soueast has also introduced vehicles with the Blue Core 1.5TGDI engine, reportedly achieving 40% thermal efficiency and saving about 1L/100km in city driving compared to older models.

Does frequently stalling a manual transmission car damage the vehicle?

Frequently stalling a manual transmission car can indeed cause some damage. When the engine, which was rotating normally, suddenly stalls, the crankshaft receives a certain impact. Additionally, after being forced to stall, more unburned gasoline remains in the cylinders, which can easily lead to carbon deposits, although the impact is minimal. Starting a manual transmission car is a rite of passage for every new driver, and starting is a basic operation that must be mastered. At low speeds or when turning at intersections, there are times when you need to brake to a stop. After stopping, when starting again, you might forget which gear you're in but still attempt to start with the clutch release force appropriate for first gear, which can lead to stalling. Even at traffic lights, drivers often pull up the handbrake and forget to release it when starting, which can also cause the car to stall.

Can rain visors block rain?

Yes. 1. Function of rearview mirror rain visors: Designed for rainy weather, they can promptly remove rainwater and other debris from the rearview mirrors, ensuring safe driving. 2. Protection for drivers: When the car window is open, the rain visors prevent outside airflow from easily blowing onto the faces of passengers and drivers. Rearview mirror rain visors are not only useful during rainy weather but also on sunny days. For example, they can provide shade in hot weather, avoiding direct sunlight exposure.

How to Switch from Instant Fuel Consumption to Average Fuel Consumption?

Press the INFO button on the left side of the steering wheel to toggle between average speed, average fuel consumption, instant fuel consumption, and remaining driving range. Additional information is as follows: 1. Instant Fuel Consumption: Instant fuel consumption indicates the fuel consumption at a specific moment. The display unit is "Liters per 100 kilometers (L/100Km)" when the vehicle is in motion, and "Liters per hour (L/H)" when the engine is running but the vehicle is stationary. 2. Average Fuel Consumption: The current average fuel consumption represents the average fuel consumption per 100 kilometers for the current trip. It is generally calculated from the time the engine is started again two hours after the last time the vehicle was turned off.

What to Do When the Navigation Device Won't Turn On?

Here are the specific solutions for a navigation device that won't turn on: 1. Fault issues: Problems such as a damaged power button, faulty charger, battery failure, or internal hardware damage in the navigation device require inspection at a repair shop to confirm the exact issue. What to Do When Brake Discs Rust?

Rust on car brake discs does not pose a serious issue. Here is a detailed introduction to car brake discs: 1. Explanation: The braking system primarily relies on the brake disc calipers and brake pads to function. The most worn component in a car is the brake pads. As long as the brake pads are not worn beyond the warning line limit and the brake fluid is not deteriorated, driving safety is generally not affected. 2. Additional Information: The brake disc is a circular disc that rotates when the car is moving. The brake calipers clamp the brake disc to generate braking force. When you press the brake pedal, the calipers clamp the disc to slow down or stop the vehicle. Brake discs offer effective braking performance and are easier to maintain compared to drum brakes.
