What does TPMS mean in cars?
1 Answers
TPMS in cars refers to the Tire Pressure Monitoring System. This system utilizes wireless transmission technology to monitor tire pressure whether the vehicle is stationary or in motion. While driving, if the tire pressure values become abnormal, the TPMS or tire pressure warning device will alert the driver. It is essential to continuously monitor tire pressure changes during driving. If the tire pressure is too high, the contact area between the tire and the ground decreases, increasing the pressure per unit area on the tire. When driving on rough roads, encountering protruding objects can lead to tire blowouts.
