What does the Volkswagen Polo fault code 01315 mean?

Fault code 000135 indicates that the system/rail pressure is too low, which may cause jerking during acceleration. It is recommended to visit a repair shop for further inspection. Function of the fuel rail: The high-pressure fuel rail is used to store fuel and suppress pressure fluctuations caused by the high-pressure pump supplying fuel and the injector spraying fuel, ensuring stable system pressure. The high-pressure fuel rail is shared by all cylinders, which is a hallmark of the common rail system. Principle of the fuel rail: All cylinder injectors are connected to a common fuel pipe (referred to as the fuel rail), which maintains a constant pressure. The high-pressure fuel pump delivers fuel to the rail, which then supplies it to the injectors. Each injector is connected to the common fuel rail via its own high-pressure fuel pipe, and the system's fuel pressure is controlled by an electronic circuit. The fuel rail pressure remains essentially constant throughout the injection process and can be freely selected independent of the engine's speed and load.
