What does the vehicle range function mean?

It refers to the maximum distance a vehicle can travel at a relatively fuel-efficient speed with the remaining gasoline in the fuel tank. The driving range is also known as the cruising range. Definition of cruising range: Generally, it refers to the total distance a vehicle can travel from a full tank of fuel or a fully charged battery until it can no longer move. For new energy vehicles, the maximum battery-supported cruising range refers to the highest distance the vehicle can travel in pure electric mode, relying solely on the power from the battery. The battery in new energy vehicles is the key component of the entire power system, providing electricity for the whole new energy system. However, due to material and technological limitations, the cruising range provided by the battery is limited. Vehicle odometer range: It includes two roller counters driven by the same flexible shaft, which respectively accumulate the current trip distance and the total distance. The current trip distance usually has four digits and can be reset for short-term counting, while the total distance has six digits and cannot be reset.
