What does the Subject 2 simulator mean?

Subject 2 simulator is designed to simulate the formal Subject 2 driving test, aiming to improve the pass rate. The simulation covers the same test items as the actual exam, serving as a practice test. The content of the Subject 2 test is introduced as follows: 1. Small vehicles: For C1 and C2 license tests, the required items include reversing into a garage, parallel parking, stopping and starting on a slope, right-angle turns, and curve driving (commonly known as S-turns) — five mandatory items (some regions include a sixth item: highway toll card collection). 2. Large vehicles: For A1, A2, A3, B1, and B2 license tests, the items include stake test, stopping and starting on a slope, parallel parking, driving over a single-plank bridge, curve driving, right-angle turns, passing through a narrow gate, driving over continuous obstacles, driving on bumpy roads, making U-turns on narrow roads, as well as simulations of highway driving, continuous sharp turns on mountain roads, tunnels, rainy (foggy) conditions, slippery roads, and emergency handling.
I've been learning to drive recently, and the subject two simulator is that kind of practice equipment used at driving schools. It resembles a real driving cockpit, complete with a steering wheel, pedals, and a large screen, specifically designed for test items like reverse parking and parallel parking. By simulating real scenarios, I can repeatedly practice my operational skills without worrying about bumps or accidents. The instructor says this thing saves money and is highly efficient, avoiding fuel consumption and maintenance costs of real cars, and allows students to practice their reaction skills anytime. Personally, I feel I've improved much faster using it, especially during night practice where it simulates lighting effects, offering high realism and boosting my confidence. The driving school is promoting it now, probably to increase the pass rate and reduce accidents caused by novices on the road. Anyway, after passing, I felt much more relaxed during the road test. This thing is really great.
