What does the small manual car Subject 2 test include?

The C1 car test items include reverse parking, parallel parking, stopping and starting on a slope, right-angle turns, curve driving (commonly known as S-curve), and in some areas, a sixth item of high-speed toll card collection. The full score for Subject 2 is 100 points, with evaluation criteria set for disqualification, deduction of 20 points, deduction of 10 points, and deduction of 5 points. A total test score of 80 points or above is considered a pass. Subject 2 test is taken once, and if failed, a retake is allowed once. If the retake is not attended or still fails, the test is terminated, and the applicant must reschedule the test after ten days. Within the validity period of the driving skill test permit, the number of scheduled tests for Subject 2 and Subject 3 road driving skills tests must not exceed five times. If the fifth scheduled test is still failed, the results of other subjects that have been passed will be invalidated.
I got my license last year, and looking back now, the small manual car Subject 2 test was quite interesting. It mainly tests five items: reversing into a garage, which is aligning and parking the car when backing up; parallel parking, simulating parking on the roadside with some space left in front and behind; stopping and starting on a slope, where you have to stop at a designated point on the slope and release the brake without rolling back; turning at a right angle, steering steadily on a right-angle road section; and driving on a curve, maneuvering an S-curve without touching the boundary lines. During practice, the instructor always said these are the basics, and mastering them can prevent rear-end collisions and scrapes. At first, I often misaligned when reversing, but a friend suggested slowly pressing the clutch to control the speed, and I passed the test. In total, I practiced for about a week, over an hour each time. The actual test site wasn’t very large, but the equipment was quite standard. Remember to familiarize yourself with the car’s performance and stay calm.
