What does the personalization of Audi driving modes mean?

Audi's driving mode personalization allows you to customize the feedback of various modules. Generally, you can adjust the steering wheel weight, chassis stiffness, throttle response, and transmission reaction. Audi driving modes include Comfort mode, Auto mode, Dynamic mode, and Individual mode, each with distinct characteristics. Comfort mode: In this mode, the transmission shifts gears before the engine reaches 2000 rpm. Shifting around 2000 rpm is the most fuel-efficient, as the engine doesn't exert much effort at this speed. The steering wheel feels lighter, and the throttle response is less sensitive, delivering smoother power. Auto mode: While gear shifts still occur below 2000 rpm, the steering wheel becomes slightly heavier, improving responsiveness. The throttle response is noticeably more sensitive, delivering power promptly—neither too gentle nor too aggressive, making it easy to control. At full throttle, you can feel some acceleration push, though the suspension stiffness changes are not very noticeable. Dynamic mode: A more extreme mode where the transmission shifts gears above 3000 rpm, providing a noticeably faster acceleration feel. The steering wheel becomes much heavier, making one-handed driving more challenging. The throttle response is highly sensitive, delivering aggressive power with noticeable acceleration push even without deep throttle input.
