Parking diesel heater displaying E01 indicates a control circuit fault. Working principle of parking diesel heater: The main motor of the heater drives the plunger oil pump, combustion air fan, and atomizer to rotate. The oil pump delivers the inhaled fuel to the atomizer through the fuel pipeline. The atomizer atomizes the fuel by centrifugal force and mixes it with the air inhaled by the combustion air fan in the main combustion chamber. The mixture is ignited by the glowing electric heater plug, fully combusted in the rear combustion chamber, and then redirected. The heat is transferred to the medium—coolant—in the water jacket interlayer through the inner wall of the water jacket and the fins on it. The heated medium circulates throughout the pipeline system under the action of the circulating water pump (or thermal convection) to achieve the heating purpose. The exhaust gas from the heater is discharged through the exhaust pipe. Precautions for installing parking diesel heater: When installing the exhaust pipe, try to keep it as far away from the cab as possible to prevent carbon monoxide from entering the cab. The exhaust outlet should also face backward to avoid harmful gases being blown toward the driving direction by headwinds during travel. Remember to leave a gap in the window when sleeping at night. Carbon monoxide is not only emitted from the exhaust pipe but can also enter the cab along with hot air. Therefore, when using the diesel heater, always remember to leave a gap in the window to maintain air circulation inside and outside, preventing carbon monoxide poisoning due to excessive concentration.
