The oil can-shaped warning light indicates that the engine oil level has dropped below the minimum threshold, signaling low oil pressure. This requires immediate action to either top up or replace the engine oil. Engine oil consists of two main components: base oil and additives. The base oil forms the primary constituent of the lubricant, determining its fundamental properties, while additives compensate for and enhance the performance limitations of the base oil, imparting additional beneficial characteristics - making them an essential part of the lubricant. The engine serves as the heart of a vehicle, containing numerous metal surfaces that move against each other under high friction. These components operate at high speeds in harsh environments, with working temperatures reaching 400°C to 600°C. Under such extreme conditions, only qualified lubricating oil can effectively reduce engine component wear and extend service life.
