What does the motorcycle periodic inspection service mean?
1 Answers
The previous annual inspection regulations for motorcycles stipulated an inspection every two years for the first four years, and then an annual inspection after four years. Starting from June 2019, new motorcycles are exempt from inspection for the first six years, followed by an annual inspection after six years. Before applying, the motorcycle owner must resolve all traffic violations and accidents related to the vehicle, obtain compulsory traffic insurance from an insurance company with their ID card and vehicle license, and finally take the motorcycle to an inspection station. The following steps are involved: 1. After preparing the necessary documents, drive the motorcycle to the designated inspection site on a working day for registration and inspection. 2. Fill out two forms: 'Motor Vehicle Inspection Record' and 'Motor Vehicle Verification Application Form,' then submit them to the inspection station staff and wait patiently in line. 3. The motorcycle inspection mainly covers three areas: braking system, lighting system, and exhaust emissions. 4. After the inspection, take the forms to update the vehicle license and pay the relevant annual inspection fees.
