The engine fuel supply system consists of a fuel tank, fuel lines, fuel pump, fuel filter, air filter, fuel pressure regulator, fuel injector, cold start injector, fuel pressure pulse damper, intake manifold, and exhaust manifold. The task of the gasoline engine fuel supply system is to prepare a certain quantity and concentration of combustible mixture according to the requirements of various engine operating conditions, supply it into the cylinder, and ignite it near the end of compression for expansion and work. Currently, the fuel supply systems for gasoline engines include: carburetor-type fuel supply system, gasoline injection-type fuel supply system, liquefied petroleum gas fuel supply system, and other mixed fuel supply systems. The carburetor-type fuel supply system is the traditional supply system for gasoline engines and is still widely used today, while the gasoline injection-type fuel supply system has become prevalent in gasoline engines.
