China 6 vehicle emission standard refers to the regulations established to prevent environmental pollution caused by exhaust emissions from compression-ignition and gas-fueled spark-ignition engine vehicles, protect the ecological environment, and safeguard human health. Its full name is 'China VI Vehicle Pollutant Emission Standard,' which is currently an upgraded version of the China 5 emission standard. Compared to the China 5 standard, it imposes stricter limits on the emission of CO (carbon monoxide), THC (total hydrocarbons), NMHC (non-methane hydrocarbons), NOX (nitrogen oxides), and PM (particulate matter mass). Additionally, it introduces new regulations on PN (particulate matter number) emissions.
