What does the car MAX button mean?
1 Answers
If the MAX button is inside the car, it generally refers to the air conditioning's maximum cooling function; if located on the engine oil dipstick, it indicates the maximum fluid level - do not exceed the MAX mark when adding engine oil. Typically, only the air conditioning system features a MAX button inside vehicles. When pressed, the AC will enter maximum cooling mode to rapidly lower the cabin temperature. The car air conditioner is a crucial comfort feature. Its cooling principle is quite simple: during operation, the AC button must be pressed to engage the compressor clutch, allowing the engine to drive the compressor which continuously compresses refrigerant and circulates it to the evaporator.
