The BC button on BMW is the instrument display function toggle button. During vehicle operation, the driver can press the BC button located on the light control lever under the steering wheel to view or toggle between information such as total mileage, trip distance, instantaneous fuel consumption, remaining range, date, and average fuel consumption on the instrument panel. The buttons on the left side of the steering wheel control multimedia, Bluetooth calls, mute, page switching, track skipping, voice control, call answering and hanging up, and audio source switching. The buttons on the right side control cruise control: SET for setting speed, CANCEL for canceling cruise, RES for resuming cruise, lane keeping system, cruise speed adjustment, and MAIN for the cruise control on/off button. The multifunction buttons on the steering wheel are typically designed for convenient operation by the driver, such as volume adjustment and menu selection. Some models with in-car phone features also have call answer and microphone buttons on the steering wheel. The right side of the steering wheel is for wiper adjustment. When adjusting, push the lever up or down according to the icons on it. The wiper speed can also be adjusted based on the amount of rain. To spray water on the windshield, pull the lever toward the driver. Models with rear wipers can also be adjusted here, with identical indicators. Generally, the dashboard of most vehicles is equipped with four dials: the two largest ones are the tachometer and speedometer, while the two smaller ones are the water temperature gauge and fuel gauge. The small icons on the dashboard represent different meanings and can promptly reflect vehicle information.

As a seasoned driver who has owned several BMWs, I must say the BC button is quite a handy feature. It stands for Board Computer, located near the steering wheel or on the dashboard, and with a light press, it cycles through the displayed information. I often use it to check average fuel consumption, remaining range, total mileage, and more—like monitoring fuel efficiency on long trips to save money and stay informed. Different BMW models may vary slightly in display methods, but its essence is to help drivers stay focused on the road by minimizing the need to look down at screens. Maintenance is simple too—just wipe it regularly to prevent dust buildup that could cause poor contact. Once on the highway, I relied on it to quickly check my remaining fuel range and refuel in time, avoiding an embarrassing breakdown. Overall, this small design may seem minor but is incredibly thoughtful—definitely worth exploring more while driving.

I just got a BMW not long ago and found the BC button particularly interesting—it's as simple to operate as playing a game. With just a press, the dashboard info changes dynamically, displaying things like fuel consumption, time, and even the remaining trip distance. During my city commutes, I often use it to monitor real-time fuel efficiency, helping me develop fuel-saving habits. It's usually located on the steering wheel spoke, allowing easy one-handed control without distraction, even in rainy conditions. BMW's onboard systems are highly intelligent, and the BC button, as an entry-level feature, is perfect for beginners to explore. After my friend bought his car, I even taught him how to use it to record trip data and share it on social media. All in all, it adds a bit of fun to driving without complicating things.

When driving my BMW to drop off family members, the BC button has become my great helper. With a simple press, the dashboard switches to display different information like trip mileage or time, avoiding the danger of checking my phone while driving. Its position is ergonomically designed for easy operation. For daily family use, it helps monitor the total mileage to remind me of maintenance intervals, making life easier and safer. For example, before heading out for a countryside trip, I can check the remaining fuel to ensure we won't run into trouble. Though simple, its functionality is practical and reliable.

What Are the Causes of Transmission Noise in the Haval F7?

Haval F7 transmission noise can be attributed to the following reasons: Wear and damage of bearings: When bearings wear out, the gap increases, and the fit precision decreases; when bearings are damaged, abnormal sounds occur as they cannot operate normally, potentially leading to damage of transmission components and exacerbating the issue. Wear of transmission components or the use of replacement parts with excessively low precision, such as worn gears or new gears with excessively large fit gaps compared to the original ones. Insufficient or overly viscous lubricant causing poor lubrication: In such cases, the corresponding lubricant (grease) should be replaced; otherwise, it will accelerate transmission wear and shorten its service life. Loose bolts on the transmission housing (end cover): Vibration during use can loosen the bolts, so regular inspections are necessary.

What to Do If the Steering Wheel Becomes Heavier After Wheel Alignment?

If the steering wheel becomes heavier after a wheel alignment, you should return to the 4S shop and have the staff readjust the wheel alignment data. The front wheels have camber and toe angles. If the steering wheel becomes heavier after the alignment, it may be due to improper adjustment of these angles. The four wheels of a car are not simply perpendicular to the ground; each wheel has specific alignment data. The front wheels have toe and camber angles, while the rear wheels also have camber angles. Driving over speed bumps or rough roads can cause the wheel alignment data to change. If wheel alignment is not performed for a long time, it may lead to uneven tire wear or vehicle deviation.

Where does the air conditioning water of the Baojun 730 flow out from?

Baojun 730 air conditioning water flows out from the middle position under the car. The location of the air conditioning drain outlet: The car air conditioning drain hole is generally under the front engine hood, located at the junction of the front windshield and the front fender. In addition, some models have the air conditioning drain holes installed on both sides of the roof. The function of the air conditioning drain outlet: The air conditioning drain outlet functions to discharge the water condensed from the surrounding air during the heat exchange process when the evaporator continuously absorbs heat during air conditioning use. This is why there is a puddle of water under the car after the air conditioner has been running for a while. New car owners may suspect a car water leak when encountering this situation, but there is actually no need to worry at all.

Does the BMW 3 Series have a double-wishbone suspension?

BMW 3 Series does not feature a double-wishbone suspension but instead uses a MacPherson strut suspension. The presence of the M3 model with its large 4.0-liter engine makes the double-wishbone suspension impractical due to excessive lateral space occupation, which would not accommodate the engine. Trailing arm suspension system: The trailing arm suspension system is specifically designed for rear-wheel suspension systems. European models such as those from Peugeot, Citroën, and Opel often prefer this type of suspension system. Multi-link suspension system: The multi-link suspension system is further divided into a 5-link rear suspension and a 4-link front suspension system. As the name suggests, the 5-link rear suspension system includes five links: the control arm, rear locating arm, upper arm, lower arm, and front locating arm, with the control arm capable of adjusting the front wheel beam.
