What does TCS stand for?

TCS stands for Traction Control System, also known as the Track Control System. The Traction Control System prevents the drive wheels from spinning when the vehicle is driving on slippery surfaces such as snow, ensuring smooth starting and acceleration. Especially on snowy or muddy roads, the Traction Control System guarantees smooth acceleration performance, preventing the vehicle from skidding sideways or fishtailing due to wheel spin. On steep slopes, rugged rocky roads, and other off-road conditions unique to four-wheel-drive vehicles, the Traction Control System also appropriately controls wheel side slip. Although this system primarily enhances driving safety in muddy, uneven terrain, or during rainy or snowy weather, it is recommended that drivers keep it activated as a precautionary measure.
