What Does Subject 2 Test?

Subject 2, also known as the small road test, is part of the motor vehicle driver's license assessment and is the abbreviated term for the field driving skills test. For small vehicles (C1/C2), the test items include five mandatory components: reversing into a garage, parallel parking, stopping and starting on a slope, turning at a right angle, and driving through curves (commonly known as the S-curve). Some regions may also include a sixth item: high-speed toll card collection. Below is a relevant introduction to Subject 2: Key Operational Points: Master the basic driving operation essentials and possess fundamental vehicle control abilities; proficiently grasp the basic methods of field and road driving within the test area, with the capability to reasonably use vehicle controls and correctly manage the vehicle's spatial position, accurately controlling the vehicle's position, speed, and route. Retake Policy: If a candidate fails the Subject 2 test on the first attempt, they are allowed one retake. If the candidate does not attend the retake or fails the retake, the test process is terminated, and the applicant must reschedule the test after ten days. Within the validity period of the driving skills test permit, the number of scheduled tests for Subject 2 and Subject 3 (road driving skills) must not exceed five. If the fifth scheduled test is still unsuccessful, the results of any previously passed subjects will be invalidated.
