What does RVM mean in new energy vehicles?

RVM stands for Rear Vehicle Monitoring system, which alerts the driver when there is a vehicle in the blind spot during lane changes. GPS Vehicle Monitoring System: The vehicle monitoring system composed of GIS and GPS technologies can be divided into three main functional modules: the onboard terminal module, the mobile communication system, and the monitoring center. The onboard terminal calculates positioning data (longitude, latitude, time, speed, direction) and status data from the satellite signals received by the GPS receiver. After processing and packaging the data, it sends the information back to the central information gateway via the wireless communication network (GSM/GPRS). The central information gateway then receives the positioning and status data transmitted back from the onboard unit. Mobile Phone Positioning Vehicle Monitoring System: The mobile phone positioning vehicle monitoring system utilizes the driver's mobile phone, based on the base station positioning of the mobile network, to achieve vehicle monitoring. Base station positioning mainly uses the calculation of the distance between the base station and the mobile phone to determine the phone's location, also known as the LBS base station positioning method. The accuracy largely depends on the distribution of base stations and the size of the coverage area. In urban areas, the error is approximately 50M-200M, while in suburban areas, the error can sometimes reach 1 to 2 kilometers. This level of positioning accuracy is sufficient for the needs of the logistics industry.
