What does rear mean on a car?

Rear on a car refers to the rear windshield defogging function, which primarily works by heating resistance wires to remove fog. Typically, the rear defogger switch automatically turns off after about ten minutes of operation. If the defogging effect is unsatisfactory after turning on the rear defogger, it may be due to aging from prolonged use. Whether the air conditioning is automatic or manual, turning it on helps with dehumidification. Avoid setting the air conditioning temperature to the coldest position, as this can cause fogging on the outside of the windshield. Besides this button, there is also a FRONT button, which is for the front windshield defrosting.
