What does original paint mean?

Original version refers to the fact that the vehicle's body panels have not been replaced for any reason, meaning all the body panels are factory-original. Original paint means that no part of the vehicle's body has undergone any repainting, whether full or partial repainting. Original paint, also known as lead paint, is made by grinding and mixing pigments (white lead powder) with drying oil (linseed oil). It requires the addition of fish oil, solvents, and other diluents before use. This type of paint has a soft film, excellent adhesion to topcoats, strong coverage, and is the lowest-grade oil-based paint. It is suitable for low-demand construction projects or pipe joints and is widely used as a primer for wooden objects, as well as for mixing oil stains and putty. When washing the car, it should be done after the engine has cooled down. Avoid washing the vehicle under direct sunlight or high temperatures to prevent the cleaning agent from drying and leaving marks. For regular DIY car washing, use specialized detergents and neutral water. Avoid using highly alkaline detergents like laundry powder, soap water, or dishwashing liquid, as they can strip the protective oils from the paint and accelerate its aging.
