What does NORMAL mode mean?

NORMAL is an English word meaning standard or regular. In vehicles, it refers to a conventional driving mode, which is the standard driving setting. The functions of different driving modes in cars are as follows: 1. "NORMAL" mode: Achieves the optimal balance between fuel economy, quietness, and power performance. Suitable for city driving. 2. "SPORT" mode: Controls the transmission and engine to enable quick and powerful acceleration. This mode also alters the steering feel, making it suitable for situations requiring agile driving responses, such as driving on winding roads. When Sport mode is selected, the "SPORT" indicator on the multi-information display will illuminate.
As someone who has been driving for years, I can tell you that Normal mode is the most worry-free setting for your car. Unlike Eco mode where the throttle feels sluggish and you always have to press the accelerator in advance when overtaking, or Sport mode which keeps the car tense all the time with particularly high fuel consumption, this mode is perfect for daily commutes. The steering wheel weight is just right, and it doesn't feel too bumpy over speed bumps. I always use this mode when taking my family out on weekends; the kids won't be suddenly startled awake by abrupt acceleration while sleeping in the back seat. Over the long term, the fuel consumption is quite balanced—you can enjoy driving pleasure without being too fuel-thirsty. If you can't be bothered to study various mode switches, Normal mode is always the safest choice.
