LDWS system: The Lane Departure Warning System is a new driving assistance feature. This function automatically activates when it detects unintentional lane departure while the vehicle is traveling at 80kph or above on highways or dual-carriageway roads. Below is extended information about the LDWS system: 1. To detect unintentional lane departure, the LDWS system has 6 infrared sensors behind the front bumper, with 3 on each side. Each sensor is equipped with an infrared LED and a light detection slot. 2. The working process of the LDWS system is as follows: When the vehicle crosses road markings (white lane markings) without activating the turn signal, the infrared sensors behind the front bumper can detect this action and trigger the ECU. Depending on the direction of lane departure, the system alerts the driver through vibration on either the left or right side of the driver's seat.
