What Does Lane Assist Function Mean?

Lane assist function is a type of intelligent driving assistance, generally based on the vehicle's lane departure warning assistance system, which simultaneously controls the brakes, throttle, and steering to coordinate, allowing the vehicle to drive in the center of the lane with the assistance of a camera. Vehicles equipped with lane keeping assistance will provide warnings, such as steering wheel vibration or audible alerts, if the vehicle's trajectory deviates and approaches road markings while driving normally forward. When the vehicle is about to reach the road markings, the lane keeping system will stand by and display an indicator on the dashboard. If the vehicle crosses the markings while the driver uses the turn signal, the system will determine it as an intentional lane change, and warning signals will disappear.
