Washer fluid, commonly known as automotive glass cleaner, primarily functions to clean the windshield when it gets dirty and also provides lubrication. It is a consumable item in vehicle maintenance. High-quality automotive windshield washer fluid mainly consists of water, alcohol, ethylene glycol, corrosion inhibitors, and various surfactants. It offers cleaning, antifreeze, antifog, antistatic, lubricating, and anti-corrosion properties. Generally, windshield washer fluids on the market fall into three categories. The first type is for summer use, which includes insect-removing agents in its formula to quickly eliminate insect residues on the windshield. The second type is antifreeze washer fluid designed for winter use, ensuring it does not freeze even when the external temperature drops below -20°C. The third type is ultra-antifreeze washer fluid, which remains unfrozen at temperatures as low as -40°C, making it suitable for extremely cold regions in the northernmost parts of the country. Inferior washer fluids are often diluted with water and alcohol, which can damage the car's paint gloss and the hardness of rubber seals.
