When the ABS warning light comes on in a car, it indicates a malfunction in the anti-lock braking system. The issue could be related to components such as the wheel speed sensor, ABS wiring, ABS pump, pressure regulating solenoid valve, or the ABS control unit. ABS, also known as the anti-lock braking system, functions to automatically regulate the braking force during vehicle braking, keeping the wheels in a state of rolling and sliding simultaneously, thereby reducing the braking distance. In the ABS system, each wheel is equipped with a wheel speed sensor. After operation, the signals from these sensors are transmitted to the electronic control unit of the braking system. The electronic control unit then monitors and evaluates the motion state of each wheel based on the input signals from the wheel speed sensors and generates corresponding control signals.
