ION in a car refers to the air purification function. When ION is activated, the air purifier starts working. The new ION system mainly consists of two components: 1. PM2.5 sensor: Function: It measures the PM2.5 content in the air inside and outside the vehicle, serving as the basis for whether to automatically activate ION and displaying the measured PM2.5 concentration on the car's screen. Location: The sensor is installed inside the vehicle's dashboard, to the right of the blower, on the right front A-pillar. 2. Negative ion generator: Function: It boosts the 12V low voltage to hundreds of volts of high voltage, ionizing the air to form negative ions for air purification, dust removal, deodorization, and sterilization. Location: Installed between the blower and the evaporator.
