Huangjiang car, also known as Huangjiang water car, is another term for smuggled vehicles. Such cars are not allowed on the road in China, and if caught, the offender will be charged with smuggling. Huangjiang car: Water cars are second-hand or brand-new vehicles from the United States, Europe, and the Middle East that are shipped by sea or air to Hong Kong. They are then transported to neighboring countries of China and smuggled across the border. Since they bypass customs and tax procedures, they are referred to as smuggled cars, or water cars. Risks of purchasing Huangjiang cars: Huangjiang used cars cannot obtain official license plates from the vehicle management office, meaning they cannot be legally driven without proper registration. Generally, smuggled vehicles lack proper documentation because they enter the country through illegal channels, so the vehicle management authorities do not issue normal procedures. If caught, the vehicles will be confiscated, and the offender will be charged with smuggling, with penalties based on the amount of smuggled goods and evaded taxes.
