What Does Full Car Solar Film Mean?

Full car solar film refers to applying a thin film-like material to the vehicle's front and rear windshield, side windows, and sunroof. This film is also known as solar film or heat-insulating and explosion-proof film. Solar Film: Solar film, also called heat-insulating film, is produced using modern manufacturing techniques such as vacuum deposition or magnetron sputtering. These methods create multiple layers of dense, high-heat-insulating metal coatings made from materials like aluminum, gold, copper, and silver. How Solar Film Works: The function of solar film is to block heat through the inherent physical properties of metals, thereby reducing fuel consumption and improving comfort. In metallic materials, outer shell electrons are generally not bound by the nucleus. When exposed to light waves, the electric field of the light causes free electrons to absorb the light's energy, generating oscillations at the same frequency as the light. These oscillations then emit light of the same frequency as the original, known as light reflection. The higher the metal's conductivity, the shallower the penetration depth and the higher the reflectivity. These metal layers selectively reflect various heat energy sources from sunlight, including infrared rays, ultraviolet rays, and visible light heat energy. Combined with the film's color absorbing solar thermal radiation and subsequently releasing it outward, along with outdoor airflow carrying away part of the heat, the film effectively provides heat insulation.
