Fuel on a motorcycle means fuel. Meaning of the fuel light: When the fuel light comes on, it means it's time to refuel. Usage of the fuel switch: The fuel switch has three positions: normal fuel supply, stop fuel supply, and use reserve fuel. The main fuel tank symbol on the motorcycle fuel tank switch is ON or a full cup of water, the reserve tank symbol is RES or a half cup of water, and OFF means closed. When the handle is turned up, it's the reserve tank. After refueling, the handle should be turned down. The fuel switch up is reserve fuel, sideways is fuel off, and down is normal fuel on.

Hey, I want to say that the 'fuel' label on motorcycles usually refers to the fuel, simply put, it's the gasoline or similar fuel that the engine needs to drink. As a beginner learning to ride, I've noticed this symbol often appears on the dashboard or near the fuel tank cap, serving as a reminder to check the fuel level. When the fuel gauge needle drops low or the warning light comes on, it means it's time to refuel, otherwise, stalling midway through the ride can be troublesome. In daily use, different motorcycles may require different types of fuel, with the most common being gasoline grades like 92 or 95 octane. Using the wrong type can affect engine performance. I've also noticed that modern motorcycles have much more accurate fuel gauges compared to older models, but to save fuel, it's best to keep the tank at least one-third full to prevent air from affecting combustion efficiency. Additionally, in cold weather, fuel can condense, so it's advisable to warm up the bike before riding in winter. Although it's a small thing, it's crucial for the stability of the entire ride, and understanding these details can help you avoid pitfalls.

Will Car Stickers Be Penalized?

Car body stickers will not violate traffic regulations if they do not affect the vehicle's appearance or safe driving. Below are the precautions for stickers: 1. Car stickers cannot use the special colors designated for specific vehicles: firefighting red, engineering rescue yellow, and the upper white and lower blue color combination designated for national administrative law enforcement. These are special colors for specific vehicles and cannot be used on ordinary vehicles. Therefore, for the sake of personalization or other reasons, attempting to modify the vehicle with a full-body color-changing film (or other methods) constitutes illegal vehicle modification and will result in a fine of 500–1,000 yuan, along with an order to restore the vehicle to its original condition. 2. The area of car stickers must not exceed 30% of the vehicle's body area; exceeding this requires approval: If the area of car stickers is too large (exceeding 30%) and has not been reported to the public security traffic management department, it will cause the vehicle to differ from the photo on the vehicle registration certificate. This will be deemed illegal modification and will result in a fine of 500–1,000 yuan. Additionally, in the event of a vehicle accident, insurance companies may refuse to provide related compensation services for this reason. 3. Car stickers must not affect safe driving: The content must be healthy and positive.

Why Should You Avoid Flood-Damaged Cars?

Flood-damaged cars refer to vehicles that have been submerged in water. It is well-known that vehicles contain numerous mechanical components and various electronic parts. Currently, no vehicles on the market are completely sealed and waterproof. This means that when a vehicle is submerged in water, various components and electronic parts are bound to be damaged, leading to significant safety hazards. For example, the vehicle may stall at high speeds or experience brake failure. Metal Corrosion: Moisture-induced rust can occur as some metal fittings inside the vehicle are not treated with anti-corrosion measures. After repairs, residual moisture can accelerate the corrosion and oxidation of these metals. Damage to Electronic Control Components: Water damage can severely harm the vehicle's electronic control components, such as control modules and sensors for various systems, as well as electrical connectors, posing significant risks.

Can You Make a U-Turn on a Dashed Yellow Line?

Dashed yellow lines can be either double dashed yellow lines or a combination of one solid and one dashed double yellow line, and the specific situation must be analyzed. Double yellow lines can be either dashed or solid: double solid yellow lines (usually placed in the center of a two-way four-lane road or wider, often without a median or with a low median), double dashed yellow lines (usually placed on roads or intersections with lower traffic volume), or a combination of one solid and one dashed double yellow line. Below are the different driving requirements for these three types of road markings: 1. Double solid yellow lines: U-turns, crossing, or speeding turns are strictly prohibited. Violations will result in a 200-yuan fine and 3 demerit points. 2. Double dashed yellow lines: On main roads, left turns are allowed but U-turns are not, provided it is safe and does not obstruct traffic. 3. Combination of one solid and one dashed double yellow line: Vehicles on the dashed side can make U-turns or cross the line for turns if it is safe and does not obstruct traffic, while vehicles on the solid side cannot cross the line and must not remain on the double yellow line for an extended period.

What is the vehicle that mixes concrete called?

The vehicle that mixes concrete is called a mixer truck or can also be referred to as a concrete mixer transport truck. A mixer truck is a specialized truck used to transport construction-grade concrete; due to its shape, it is often nicknamed the "snail truck" or "olive truck." These trucks are equipped with a cylindrical mixing drum to carry the mixed concrete. During transportation, the mixing drum continuously rotates to ensure the concrete does not solidify. Below is an introduction to concrete mixer transport trucks: 1. Components: They consist of a truck chassis, mixing drum, transmission system, water supply device, full-power take-off, front and rear supports for the mixing drum, reduction gear, hydraulic transmission system, loading and unloading system, and control mechanism. The concrete mixer transport truck is composed of a truck chassis and specialized concrete mixing and transport equipment. 2. Working principle: Power is output from the full-power take-off of the second-class chassis and transmitted to the hydraulic pump via a drive shaft. The hydraulic pump generates hydraulic energy, which is transmitted to the hydraulic motor through oil pipes. The hydraulic motor converts hydraulic energy into kinetic energy, which is then transmitted to the mixing drum via a reduction gear to increase torque. By adjusting the servo handle angle of the (double-acting variable) hydraulic pump, the mixing drum's rotation direction and speed are controlled, enabling operations such as concrete loading, mixing, agitation, and unloading.

Should the Clutch Be Fully Depressed When Shifting Gears?

When shifting gears, it is not always necessary to depress the clutch pedal all the way to the floor. The engagement travel of the clutch and transmission gears varies from car to car—some have longer travel, while others have shorter. As long as the clutch is depressed enough to disengage the transmission gears, you can shift gears. However, the clutch must be depressed every time you shift. Below are some key points about fully depressing the clutch when shifting: 1. Principle: Fully depressing the clutch when shifting completely disengages the engine from the transmission gears, allowing the gear lever to change the gear set before re-engaging. Since the gear sets before and after shifting are different, there is a speed difference between the gear sets to be engaged after shifting, which is synchronized by the synchronizer. 2. Consequences: If the clutch is not fully depressed during the shifting process, there will be a significant speed difference between the shifting gear set and the transmission gear set, making smooth engagement difficult. In mild cases, this can accelerate wear, and in severe cases, it can cause gear grinding, leading to transmission damage.

What does SCR mean for trucks?

SCR stands for "Selective Catalytic Reduction" technology, which is a method for treating diesel engine exhaust. The technical approach involves first addressing the particulate emissions of diesel engines through in-engine purification techniques such as optimizing combustion within the cylinder and reducing oil consumption. Then, an SCR aftertreatment device is used to reduce NOx emissions from the engine. SCR System: The SCR system consists of an ammonia supply system, an ammonia/air injection system, a catalytic reaction system, and a control system. To avoid energy consumption from reheating the flue gas, the SCR reactor is typically placed after the economizer and before the air preheater, i.e., in the high-dust section. Ammonia is introduced into the horizontal pipeline before the air preheater and mixed with the flue gas. Catalytic Reaction System: The catalytic reaction system is the core of the SCR process, equipped with NH3 nozzles and a fly ash purge device. The flue gas flows through the duct into the SCR reactor loaded with the catalyst, where NH3 is catalytically reduced to N2 on the surface of the catalyst.
