What does ETC tag detachment mean?

ETC tag detachment refers to the anti-tamper button on the back of the OBU device popping up and locking, which can occur due to: 1. Unauthorized removal or relocation of the OBU device by the user; 2. The ETC electronic tag falling off or becoming loose; 3. Device malfunction. When this happens, the ETC card cannot be used normally, and you can visit the service center where the ETC was originally processed to reactivate it. The ETC system operates through wireless communication and information exchange between the vehicle-mounted device installed on the vehicle and the antenna installed on the toll station lane. It mainly consists of an automatic vehicle identification system, a central management system, and other auxiliary facilities.
