Engine DCF is a sub-model under the Volkswagen EA211 engine platform, with a displacement of 1.5L, used in models such as Jetta, Bora, Sagitar, and Magotan. Advantages of the DCF engine: Lightweight: Made entirely of aluminum, from the valve cover at the top of the engine to the oil pan at the bottom, all are made of aluminum alloy. High efficiency: Equipped with dual variable valve timing technology for both intake and exhaust, and the direct injection system uses a 5-hole nozzle while increasing the injection pressure to 200bar, improving the engine's efficiency. Disadvantages of the DCF engine: While improving fuel economy, it sacrifices some power. Additionally, there may be issues with oil consumption.
