Compact cars typically refer to vehicles with an overall length of 4.2 to 4.6 meters, a wheelbase of 2.4 to 2.7 meters, and an engine displacement generally around 1.6 to 2.0 liters. According to German standards, compact cars are classified as A-segment vehicles. There are many models of compact cars, such as the Toyota Corolla, Nissan Sunny, Mazda 3, and Ford Focus. The Mazda 3 is a model under Changan Mazda, with body dimensions of 4515mm in length, 1745mm in width, and 1465mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2640mm. The Mazda 3 comes in two body styles: a 5-door hatchback and a 4-door sedan, with domestically assembled models mainly equipped with a 1.6-liter gasoline engine.
Compact cars are actually my favorite choice for city driving because they're not as cramped as subcompacts, yet not as fuel-guzzling or parking-challenging as midsize sedans. Take the Toyota Corolla for example - a classic compact car measuring around 4.2 to 4.5 meters in length, with a moderately-sized engine that delivers excellent fuel efficiency, saving me significant money on gas each month. It offers stable handling with smooth acceleration on highways and effortless navigation through urban traffic jams. While the trunk space can't match an SUV's capacity, it's perfectly adequate for suitcases or groceries, making it particularly suitable for office workers or singles. With outstanding overall value, I've found it to be an ideal first car for new drivers - easy to maintain, inexpensive to repair, and significantly cheaper to insure.
