What does CH mean on the car dashboard?

The dashboard CH indicates the water temperature gauge. The water temperature ranges from C to H. C represents 60 degrees, and once the water temperature gauge pointer reaches C, it means the water temperature has reached 60 degrees. The red H mark represents 110 degrees, and the span from 60 to 110 degrees allows you to estimate the temperature indicated by the water temperature gauge. Generally, if the water temperature light on the dashboard stays on, it indicates a fault in the engine's cooling system. Common fault points include: 1. Insufficient coolant in the engine cooling system, which may be due to leaks in the engine, such as water pump leakage, pipe damage, or radiator damage. 2. A faulty thermostat in the engine cooling system causing the water temperature to rise too high. Because the thermostat cannot open, the flow of coolant inside the engine is obstructed, leading to excessively high coolant temperature.
