What does bare car mean?

Bare car is a specialized term in the automobile manufacturing and sales industry, usually referring to a commodity vehicle that has not been equipped with any non-standard accessories after leaving the factory. Once the dealer adds decorative parts such as insurance bumpers, side skirts, and spoilers to the original factory configuration before sale, it is no longer called a bare car. After purchasing a car, you also need to pay: purchase tax, vehicle inspection fee, license plate fee, vehicle and vessel usage tax, and compulsory traffic accident liability insurance. Additionally, some conventional insurances are basically mandatory: third-party liability insurance, vehicle loss insurance, vehicle theft insurance, and no-deductible special insurance.
