What does B-segment car mean?
1 Answers
B-segment car refers to a mid-size car, typically with a wheelbase ranging from 2.7m to 3.0m, a body length between 4.8m and 5.0m, and an engine displacement usually between 1.5L and 2.5L. Vehicle classification is primarily based on parameters such as wheelbase and weight. The further the letter is in the alphabet, the longer the wheelbase, the larger the displacement and weight, and the higher the luxury level of the car. Generally, vehicle classifications are divided into six levels: A00-segment, A0-segment, A-segment, B-segment, C-segment, and D-segment, corresponding to micro cars, subcompact cars, compact cars, mid-size cars, full-size cars, and luxury cars, respectively.
