What Does Air Suspension Modification Mean?
1 Answers
Air suspension modification refers to a type of shock absorber that controls the vehicle's height through air pressure. The working principle of air suspension involves adjusting the vehicle's height by regulating air pressure. It consists of elastic rubber airbag shock absorbers, a pneumatic control system, a trunk-mounted air tank, and an electronic control system. Air suspension is not only found in modified vehicles but is also installed in many factory models, such as the Jeep Grand Cherokee, Land Rover Discovery, and even many supercars come with factory air suspension. Modified air suspension systems typically include a connected remote control inside the vehicle, allowing the owner to preset several height settings for quick switching between different levels. This enables the car to "slam" to the ground when parked and rise to a normal driving height when in motion.
