What does ACMAX mean in a car?

AC stands for air conditioning cooling, and MAX means maximum. ACMAX means setting the air conditioning to its maximum cooling capacity. The air conditioning system is responsible for heating, cooling, ventilating, and air exchange inside the vehicle. The car's air conditioning system has the following four functions: It can control the interior temperature, providing a more comfortable environment for drivers and passengers. It can draw in fresh air for ventilation. It can expel humidity from the cabin, enabling air circulation between the inside and outside of the vehicle. It can filter dust and impurities from the air, purifying the cabin environment. When the car's air conditioning is turned on with the fan setting, air will blow out because the blower in the air conditioning system starts working. However, the cooling function has not yet activated because the air conditioning compressor has not started. Only after the AC switch is turned on does the vehicle's computer receive the signal from the AC switch, then sends a command to the air conditioning compressor. Once the compressor starts working, the car's air conditioning cooling function begins. The heating function of the car's air conditioning is not related to the A/C button. Instead, it relies on the heat generated by the heater core (coolant), which recycles the substantial heat produced by the engine and distributes it into the cabin to achieve heating. Important notes about the car's air conditioning system: Close all windows when using the air conditioning: Sometimes, after turning on the air conditioning, the cabin may feel a bit warm, leading some to partially open the windows to regulate the temperature. However, this increases the load on the air conditioning system, wasting fuel without necessarily achieving the best results. In such cases, simply adjust the air conditioning settings as needed. Opening the sunroof for ventilation might have the opposite effect. Avoid turning on the air conditioning immediately after starting a car that has been parked for a long time: Extended parking in a closed space can make the cabin air stale or even produce unpleasant odors. After entering the car, first turn on the external circulation mode to expel the stale air before activating the air conditioning. This is especially important for cars parked under the sun for a long time—immediately turning on the air conditioning is ineffective because the cabin temperature is too high. Instead, opening the windows or repeatedly opening and closing the doors can help release the hot air faster. Alternate between internal and external air circulation modes: As the name suggests, external circulation brings fresh outdoor air into the cabin while expelling indoor air. If only internal circulation is used while driving, the cabin air cannot circulate properly, leading to unpleasant odors and, in severe cases, causing motion sickness among passengers. Always turn off the A/C button before shutting down the engine: The A/C button controls the cooling function and the air conditioning compressor. During operation, the air conditioning system generates moisture, which, combined with the engine's heat, can lead to unpleasant odors in the air conditioning ducts over time. If the A/C button is left on when the car is turned off, the system will automatically release these odors into the cabin upon restarting, immediately affecting passengers. Additionally, the sudden load from the air conditioning when starting the engine—especially after prolonged parking when the cabin temperature differs significantly from the outside—can shorten the engine's lifespan over time. Temporarily turn off the air conditioning during high-speed overtaking: The air conditioning's power setting determines the load it places on the engine. Running the air conditioning increases fuel consumption and reduces engine performance. Therefore, temporarily turning it off during high-speed overtaking can prevent potential dangers caused by insufficient power. Do not leave the air conditioning on for extended periods when sleeping in the car to avoid carbon monoxide poisoning. Also, clean or replace the air filter regularly.

I've been driving for over ten years and am quite familiar with car air conditioning systems. That ACMAX button basically means putting the AC at maximum setting - its full name is Air Conditioning Maximum Cooling Mode. When you press it, the fan spins at full speed and cooling reaches its strongest level, quickly driving out the hot air inside the car. This is especially useful in summer, like when your car's been parked under the sun for too long and feels like a steamer inside - just press ACMAX and it'll cool down in minutes. But I must remind you, don't keep it on for too long. The noise is really loud, and it might increase fuel consumption since it makes both the compressor and fan work at full capacity. Once the temperature becomes comfortable, quickly switch back to normal or auto mode. Also, some cars may have automatic AC functions that work more intelligently with it. Basically, it's an emergency button for temporary use, not something you'd use every day.

I just bought a car less than a year ago and was initially confused about ACMAX. Simply put, it stands for the air conditioning maximum mode. When pressed, the AC works at full capacity, with the fan blowing at its strongest and the cool air at its coldest, aiming to quickly lower the temperature inside the car. Especially on hot days, when you get into the car sweating, hitting this button can be a big help. But don’t let the fan run non-stop, as it consumes more fuel and may make the interior too dry—I once forgot to turn it off and after half an hour, my ears were ringing. Actually, you can use it in combination with the set temperature. For example, if you set it to 22°C and press ACMAX, it will first blast cold air and then balance out. Also, be careful not to point the vents directly at your face to avoid catching a cold. This feature is quite practical, but knowing how to switch it reasonably prevents waste.

What are the automotive emission standards?

China's automotive emission standards include National I, National II, National III, National IV, and National V emission standards. Currently, the domestic automotive exhaust emission standard in China is National V. The National VI standard will be officially implemented nationwide in July 2020, with some regions having already implemented the National VI standard ahead of schedule in July 2019. Here is more related information: 1. Automotive emission standards: Automotive emission standards refer to regulations on the content of harmful gases emitted from vehicle exhaust, such as CO (carbon monoxide), HC+NOx (hydrocarbons and nitrogen oxides), and PM (particulate matter, soot). Vehicle exhaust contains 150-200 different compounds. Since vehicle exhaust emissions primarily occur between 0.3 meters and 2 meters, which coincides with the human breathing range, they pose severe health hazards. The most harmful substances to humans include carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons, nitrogen oxides, and solid particulate matter. 2. Hazards of carbon monoxide: Carbon monoxide binds to hemoglobin in the blood 250 times faster than oxygen. Carbon monoxide enters the bloodstream through the respiratory system and combines with hemoglobin to form carboxyhemoglobin, thereby impairing the blood's ability to transport oxygen to various tissues, harming the central nervous system, and causing functional disorders in sensation, reaction, comprehension, memory, etc. In severe cases, it can endanger the circulatory system, posing life-threatening risks. Nitrogen oxides mainly refer to nitric oxide and nitrogen dioxide, both of which are harmful gases to humans, particularly to the respiratory system. Exposure to air with a nitrogen dioxide concentration of 9.4 mg/m³ for 10 minutes can cause respiratory dysfunction.

Which province is Geely from?

Geely is under Zhejiang Geely Holding Group. Geely Automobile Brand: Geely is an automobile brand. The demand for Geely continued to rise after China's accession to the WTO and reached a boiling point in 2003. It was these three years of booming sales that provided great temptation for all investors who had already entered or planned to enter the market. It was also these three post-WTO years of prosperity that gave Geely the opportunity to grow rapidly. Development of Geely: In 2004, the automobile market cooled sharply. Except for a few Geely models that remained popular, the entire market was more or less sluggish. This also made all participants in the Geely automobile sector (manufacturers, dealers, and consumers) more sober and rational. After entering 2005, the entire automobile market became more stable.
