What does AAS failure mean?

AAS failure refers to issues with the wheel speed sensor or the sensor and connector becoming detached. Below is more relevant information: 1. Symptoms of AAS failure: (1) The display does not light up, and the fan does not rotate. (2) The hollow cathode lamp fails to light up. (3) There is spark discharge inside the hollow cathode lamp. 2. Solutions: (1) First, check if the fuse is loose or blown, then inspect whether the power cord is broken or has poor contact. Under normal conditions, the insulation resistance between the power input line and the casing should be greater than 20MΩ. (2) It may be that the lamp power supply is faulty or not connected, the lamp head wiring is broken, or there is poor contact between the lamp head and the socket. Check the lamp power supply, wiring, and related connectors separately. (3) This is due to oxides or impurities on the cathode surface of the lamp. Increase the lamp current to several tens of milliamperes until the spark discharge stops. If ineffective, replace the lamp.
