What documents are required for new car inspection?

For new car inspection, you need to bring the owner's ID card, vehicle registration certificate, compulsory traffic insurance policy, and vehicle tax payment or tax exemption certificate. New car inspections are relatively simple, mainly checking the vehicle's appearance, exhaust emission standards, engine specifications, etc. Since the car is unused, its components are basically in brand-new condition, making it easy to pass the inspection. Generally, vehicles with 6 seats or fewer enjoy an exemption from inspection for the first 6 years, after which they must be inspected annually. Vehicles with more than 6 seats do not have the first 6-year exemption policy and require annual inspections. During the annual inspection, the vehicle's appearance, frame number, engine number, triangular warning sign, fire extinguisher, exhaust emissions, lights, brakes, etc., will be checked. If the inspection fails, the vehicle must be repaired and re-inspected.
