For the exam, you only need to bring your ID card. The admission ticket and other documents are handled by the driving school, which will distribute them during the exam. Electronic IDs are not accepted for the exam. If you don't have an ID card, you can apply for a temporary ID card, which has the same validity as a regular ID card. According to the "Regulations on the Application and Use of Motor Vehicle Driving Licenses," the Subject 1 exam can be taken twice on the same day. If you fail the first attempt, you can retake it for free. If you fail the second attempt, the Subject 1 exam ends, and you can only reschedule the exam after ten days. The Subject 1 exam consists of 100 questions, including single-choice and true/false questions, each worth 1 point, totaling 100 points. If you answer 11 questions incorrectly during the exam, the system will automatically submit the test and end the exam. The Subject 1 exam is computer-based and lasts 45 minutes. The content of the Subject 1 exam includes: regulations on driving licenses and motor vehicle management; road traffic conditions and rules; traffic safety violations and penalties; regulations on traffic accident handling; basic knowledge of motor vehicles; local regulations; knowledge of braking systems and safety devices for large and medium-sized passenger and freight vehicles; specialized knowledge for wheeled self-propelled machinery, trams, and trolleybuses. Notes for the Subject 1 exam: Candidates should pay attention to their attire and are not allowed to wear slippers. Electronic devices and bags are not allowed in the exam hall. Bring your ID card and queue to enter the waiting hall. Observe the instructions and procedures on the large screen and store personal belongings in the lockers before entering the exam hall. After entering the exam hall, the identity verification desk will assign a seat. Once seated, begin the exam. Ensure the camera is aligned with you and follow exam discipline. If you fail the first attempt, you can retake it the same day. If you fail again, you must pay to reschedule the exam. After the exam, queue to collect your score report and sign it. Without a signature, the result is invalid. There is no limit to the number of times you can schedule the Subject 1 exam. Each subject can be taken once, with one retake if you fail. If you do not take the retake or fail the retake, the exam ends, and you must reschedule. For Subject 2 and Subject 3, there are only five exam attempts. Subject 2 and Subject 3 exams can be rescheduled after ten days. If you fail the Subject 3 safe driving knowledge test, the previously passed road driving skills test results remain valid. There are three subjects in the driving test: Subject 1, Subject 2, and Subject 3. Subject 1 refers to the exam on traffic safety laws, regulations, and related knowledge. Subject 2 refers to the field driving skills exam. Subject 3 is divided into two parts: road driving skills and safe driving knowledge. The safe driving knowledge test is conducted after Subject 3, so it is commonly referred to as Subject 4. However, the official term (as per the Ministry of Public Security's Order No. 123) does not include "Subject 4."

The most important document for the written driving test (Subject 1) is your original ID card, which must be carried with you as it's used for identity verification on-site—this is a basic requirement. Having recently taken the test myself, I remember you also need to bring either a printed copy of your test appointment slip/proof or have it saved on your phone to display; otherwise, you won't be allowed into the examination hall. Additionally, some locations might require you to bring a small 1-inch photo as backup, though not all test centers ask for this—it's best to check local regulations in advance. Personally, I recommend verifying your documents' validity before leaving (e.g., ensure your ID isn't expired) and arriving at least 30 minutes early to avoid rushing. The process is quite straightforward, but having all documents ready saves significant hassle—forgetting them means a wasted trip. Oh, and electronic devices like phones must be stored in lockers; only essential stationery can be taken into the exam room.

For documents, the main one is the original ID card, which must be genuine. When I took the subject one test, I noticed many people overlooked the appointment voucher—this must also be brought along to prove you've registered. Remember to bring it or a screenshot of the appointment on your phone. The checks on the exam day are very strict to prevent any risk of impersonation. It's advisable to organize your bag the day before to avoid forgetting printed materials like I did the first time, which wasted time. Also, don't bring unnecessary items; only essentials are allowed in the exam hall. Once prepared, the exam will go smoothly, and having all your documents in order will save you a lot of hassle.

To take the subject one test, you need to prepare your documents. The key is the original ID card, the original one. Don't forget to bring the appointment confirmation, which can be shown on your phone or printed out. My personal experience is to arrive at the test center early and check your documents while queuing. Keep it simple and you'll be fine.

What are the speed requirements for gear shifting in Subject 3?

Subject 3 exam speed requirements for gear shifting are as follows: first gear is 0~20km/h, shift to second gear at 15~20km/h, shift to third gear at 25~30km/h, shift to fourth gear at 35~40km/h, and shift to fifth gear at 45~50km/h. Precautions during gear shifting: the clutch must be fully depressed when shifting gears. If the clutch is not fully depressed before engaging a gear or if the clutch is released before engaging, the gear lever will feel heavy regardless of the gear, and forcibly shifting with excessive force can damage the gears, produce loud noises, and in severe cases, may cause the engine to stall.

How to Determine if the Balance Shaft is Faulty?

Balance shaft failure manifests as a humming noise from the chassis while driving, with the sound intensifying as the speed increases. The function of the balance shaft is to ensure smoother engine operation and reduce vehicle vibration, thereby enhancing overall driving comfort. Balance shaft technology is a structurally simple yet highly practical engine technology that effectively mitigates overall vehicle vibration and improves driving comfort. Balance shafts can be categorized into single and double balance shafts. The method for aligning the balance shaft is as follows: 1. Align the timing mark on the shaft sprocket with the copper-plated chain link; 2. Place the timing chain on the water pump drive sprocket; 3. Adjust the last chrome-plated chain link so that the timing mark on the exhaust side balance shaft drive sprocket aligns with it.
