For the test, only an ID card is required. The admission ticket and other documents are handled by the driving school, which will distribute them during the test. Electronic IDs cannot be used for the test. If you don't have an ID card, you can apply for a temporary one, which holds the same validity as a formal ID card. According to the "Regulations on the Application and Use of Motor Vehicle Driving Licenses," you can take the Subject 1 test twice on the same day. If you fail the first attempt, you can retake it for free. If you fail the second attempt, the Subject 1 test will be terminated, and you can only reschedule after ten days. The Subject 1 test consists of 100 questions, including single-choice and true/false questions, each worth 1 point, totaling 100 points. If you answer 11 questions incorrectly during the test, the system will automatically submit the paper and end the test. The Subject 1 test is computer-based and lasts 45 minutes. The content of the Subject 1 test includes: regulations on driving licenses and motor vehicle management; road traffic conditions and regulations; traffic safety violations and penalties; regulations on road traffic accident handling; basic knowledge of motor vehicles; local regulations; knowledge of braking systems and safety devices for large and medium-sized passenger and freight vehicles; specialized knowledge for wheeled self-propelled machinery, trams, and trolleybuses. Notes for the Subject 1 test: Candidates should pay attention to their attire—no slippers are allowed. Electronic devices and bags are prohibited in the examination room. Bring your ID card and queue to enter the waiting hall. Observe the instructions and procedures on the large screen, and store personal belongings in lockers before entering the examination room. Upon entering, the identity verification desk will assign a seat. After finding your seat, begin the test. Ensure the camera is aligned with you and follow test discipline. If you fail the first attempt, you can retake it the same day. If you fail again, you must pay to reschedule. After the test, queue to collect your score sheet and sign it. Failure to sign will render the result invalid. There is no limit to the number of times you can reschedule the Subject 1 test. Each subject can be taken once, with one retake allowed if you fail. If you do not take the retake or fail it, the test will be terminated, and you must reschedule. For Subject 2 and Subject 3, there are only five attempts. These tests can be rescheduled after ten days. If you fail the Subject 3 safety and civilized driving knowledge test, the previously passed road driving skills test results remain valid. There are three subjects in the driving test: Subject 1, Subject 2, and Subject 3. Subject 1 refers to the test on road traffic safety laws, regulations, and related knowledge. Subject 2 refers to the field driving skills test. Subject 3 consists of two parts: road driving skills and safety and civilized driving knowledge. The safety and civilized driving knowledge test is conducted after Subject 3, so it is commonly referred to as Subject 4. However, the official term (as per the Ministry of Public Security Order No. 123) does not include "Subject 4."

For the subject one retake, I must remind you to bring your original ID card—it's mandatory, as the test center won't let you in without it, so don’t leave it in your bag. Also, bring your exam notification slip or online reservation confirmation; printing it is safest, as phone screenshots might not load due to poor signal. Prepare some cash for the retake fee, usually a few dozen yuan—some places accept mobile payments, but cash is more reliable. I recommend arriving 30 minutes early to avoid delays from queues. Bring a traffic rulebook to review key sections before the test, stay relaxed, and trust yourself—most pass on their first retry.

The materials for the subject one retest are quite simple: the original ID card is the most crucial, make sure to check its validity period to avoid expiration. The admission ticket or exam confirmation slip is essential, as your identity will be verified on-site. Don’t forget to bring around 50 RMB in small change for the retest fee, just in case QR code payment isn’t available. From my personal experience, it’s best to carry fewer miscellaneous items since the storage lockers at the test center are small. Review the frequently mistaken questions in advance, such as hand signal signs, to save time and stay calm. Arriving 10 minutes early to settle in will make passing the test smoothly much easier.

How to Adjust the Height of Car Headlights?

There are two methods to adjust the height of car headlights. Here are the relevant introductions: 1. Most cars nowadays come with 'height-adjustable headlights,' and there is a height adjustment button inside the cabin. Turn it upwards to raise the lights, and downwards to lower them. Sitting in the driver's seat, you can observe noticeable changes by turning the button while watching the lights. The operation is very simple. This button can control both the front and rear headlights simultaneously. 2. Adjust the light button on the headlight assembly. A few models do not have the 'height adjustment' feature, and there is no height adjustment button on the headlights. Instead, there is a fine-tuning button on the headlights that can be used. Required adjustment tool: hex key. Most headlights are controlled by hex nuts, and an internal hex wrench is used to adjust these nuts. Adjusting the hex nuts ensures the headlights are at the same height.

How to Check the Emission Standard of a Motor Vehicle?

Here are the methods to check the emission standard of a motor vehicle: 1. The simplest and most direct way is to look at the vehicle's environmental protection label, which has a clear mark on the back. 2. Log in to the website of the Motor Vehicle Exhaust Pollution Supervision and Management Center to inquire. 3. How Long Does Automotive Liquid Glass Last?

It mainly depends on the frequency of use and the vehicle's operating environment. In areas with poor conditions, more windshield washer fluid will be used. Generally, a bottle of washer fluid has a volume of 2 liters, and there is no fixed refill cycle. Below is additional information about windshield washer fluid: 1. Never use tap water. The minerals in tap water can clog the windshield washer fluid lines. 2. When the air temperature drops below freezing, use windshield washer fluid with sufficient antifreeze components. Do not operate the windshield washer continuously for several seconds, and do not operate the washer when the fluid reservoir is empty, as this can cause the washer motor to overheat, leading to expensive repair costs.

What Are the Causes of a Lean Air-Fuel Mixture in Cars?

Introduction to the causes of a lean air-fuel mixture in cars: In terms of the fuel system, a lean mixture essentially means insufficient fuel supply, resulting in a lower proportion of gasoline in the mixture. Insufficient fuel supply can be categorized into two types of faults: those outside the carburetor and those within the carburetor. Below are the detailed explanations: 1. Main causes of insufficient fuel supply outside the carburetor: (1) The fuel filter is clogged. (2) There is a blockage in the fuel line or the fuel pipe is damaged. (3) Loose or leaking fuel pipe connections. 2. Main causes of insufficient fuel supply within the carburetor: (1) The carburetor's fuel inlet is clogged, preventing smooth fuel flow from the external fuel system into the float chamber. (2) The float chamber fuel level is too low or the float is stuck. (3) The needle valve is stuck or other fuel outlets are clogged. (4) The main jet is clogged or improperly adjusted. Additionally, leaks in the intake manifold gasket or the carburetor base gasket can also cause the air-fuel mixture to become too lean.
