What Do the Dashboard Indicator Lights Mean?

Different categories of indicator lights have the following meanings: 1. Battery Indicator Light: This light indicates the working status of the battery. It turns on when the ignition is activated and turns off after the engine starts. If it does not light up or remains on continuously, the generator and circuit should be checked immediately. 2. Fuel Indicator Light: This light warns of low fuel. When it illuminates, it means the fuel is nearly depleted. Generally, the vehicle can still travel approximately 50 kilometers from the time the light comes on until the fuel runs out. 3. Washer Fluid Indicator Light: This light shows the level of the windshield washer fluid. If the fluid is about to run out, the light will turn on, reminding the owner to refill the washer fluid promptly. After adding the fluid, the light will turn off. 4. Electronic Throttle Control (EPC) Indicator Light: Commonly found in Volkswagen models, this light illuminates for a few seconds during the vehicle's self-check when starting up and then turns off. If a fault occurs, the light will stay on, indicating that maintenance is required. 5. Front and Rear Fog Light Indicator Lights: These lights indicate the operational status of the front and rear fog lights. When the fog lights are turned on, both lights illuminate. In the diagram, the left light represents the front fog light, and the right light represents the rear fog light.
