What do F and E mean in the fuel tank?

The letters E and F on the fuel tank represent the capacity of the automobile fuel tank. On the fuel gauge of the car dashboard, the characters E and F are used to indicate the fuel level, where F stands for Full and E stands for Empty. Fuel tank maintenance: Drain accumulated water and sediment from the tank, check for oil leaks at pipe joints and switches; For fuel tank caps equipped with air valves and steam valves, also inspect whether the vent holes are clear; The filter screen at the fuel filler inlet should remain intact to prevent impurities from entering the tank during refueling and clogging the fuel lines; The sealing gasket on the fuel filler cap should also be in good condition to avoid fuel spillage while driving. Precautions for refueling: Try not to wait until the fuel warning light comes on before refueling. Since the fuel pump is located inside the tank, it generates considerable heat during continuous operation and relies on being submerged in fuel for effective cooling. When the fuel light comes on, it indicates the fuel level has dropped below the pump. Consistently waiting until the light comes on to refuel will shorten the fuel pump's service life. Having too little fuel or running out completely may even cause the fuel pump to burn out.
